GM-GMC: dash lights and tail lights, dashboard lights, fuse box

my dash lights and tail lights will not come on  I have a 1985 suburban 4x4  I have turn signals and brake lights and head lights but everything else is dark,I have checked the fuse box in the passenger comp,is there a fuse box under the hood,Thanks so much

There is no fuse box under the hood.

If you are certain that your fuses are good, it might be the headlight switch.  The headlights are on a separate circuit, but the parking lights, taillights, and dashboard lights are all the circuit that is activated by the pull to the first detent on the headlight switch.

I would replace the headlight switch and see if your problem goes away.
