Toyota: Is the toyota 2200 DOHC a non interference engine, celica gts, interference engine

I saw a similar post about a camary. I have a 1990 celica GTS with a broken Timing belt. It is not turbo. Is this a non interference engine as well. The engine is something like a 5sfe(not sure of the correct spelling). Thanks for your time.

I just checked yep it is a non interference engine timing belt breakages on most celicas engines will most likely simply strand you but should not damage the engine. At least it isn't like my other car a mitsubishi which needed a whole new engine when it's belt broke 2 weeks ago. You will need the tensioners replaced as well.
