Volkswagen: Passanger door eletric window wont go down!, pannal, crazy reason

Question
For some crazy reason the electric window on my passanger door
wont go down. My drivers door window is working fine, plus i can
feel the window motor clicking when i pass the switch and the car
surgess as if it is sending the power to the door but nothing is
happening. Last week i stripped the whole pannal off and had a
look but couldn't see why it wasn't working. I've read the posting
regarding testing the wires, but don't know how to go about that.
Can you shine some light on the matter?

Hi Leon,

If the window is not jammed,  this sounds like a bad motor.  I would suggest removing the panel again and make sure that the window is absolutely straight in it's tracks and there are no obstructions.

If the car is draining power when you activate the switch, and there is clearly no obstruction.  You will need to replace the window motor.
