Volvo: stalling 940 turbo 1992, fly wheel, volvo dealer

Question
Any help you can give I will appreciate .Car frequently stalls when slowing down and at other times it drives beautifully.
Car now been into different garages 3 times in total. One basically put it down to my driving!
Had the fly wheel changed at another. Still intermitent stalling. Emissions fault light now displayed
The car is now with a top of the range Volvo dealer changed something I believe called the air mass meter my partner picked it up fron the garage and guess what stalling very frequently.
They say they have driven it for 10miles no stalling.
As you can imagine when you just stop in the middle of thr road it is very daunting.
All this started after the battery tray showed corroded at an mot last year and work was done on it.
Do you think it could be connected to wires breaking down in the battery connection ?

Answer
Lynne,
If the battery cable is not properly on the battery there are all knid of things that can happen. Did the corrosion get into another wire harness and damage some wires? Have that tested. You should also have the option of returning to the dealer and have them look over the car once again. If you get no satisfaction talk to the Service Manager, or dealer principal about not having the car fixed.
