4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: chev equinox, equinox, chev

considering buying an equinox with "awd" (all wheel drive)for colorado driving. do you think awd is comparable to 4wd? do you have positive or negative opinions about the equinox? any suggestions as to the best way to acquire the equinox? thanks.

Ronald, AWD is 4WD without the necessity of selecting the mode you wish.  The amount of power to wheels is determined by road conditions and amount of spin of wheels.  I have no personal informatiin about the Equinox but I am sure you can go to edmunds.com and they will have road tests and other info.  Best of luck.  Bud
