Answer
Hi Angie
after answering over 400 questions on allexperts it sure is strange my previous question from a consumer was also about having problems with a Taurus, i am going to write it off as a fluke as i really consider the Taurus good value for bucks along with the Sable should i consider a Ford...

As for your choice between Toyota & Honda i cant say anything negative about performance, would i buy one...no...Reason, in the 80's and up to mid 90's i will admit the imports such as Honda and Toyota was a better product, but this is 2006 and domestic vehicles have come a long way offering equal product for less money.

With you been driving a Taurus i am going to assume your looking for basic reliable transportation that will have value, you can ask the question to 10 experts and you will get 10 different answers, here are my choices...Imports i rate Hyundai very high with an excellent warranty, there was a time i considered the Hyundai the worse car on the road but times have sure changed.
If your on a budget suzuki is another good choice.
As for domestic i rate GM as #1 followed by Ford and Chrysler in last place.

From a dollar point of view the best way i can answer why i prefer Hyundai vs Toyota and Honda is as follows...
If you went shopping are you the type shopper that buys designer jeans to keep up with the Joneses or are you buying the same jeans without the label and save mega bucks ?...
