Tips on Buying Cars: Changing my mind, jaguar x type, changing my mind

Hi, I am in the state of NY and just signed a lease agreement on a Jaguar x-type.  I signed this agreement tuesday afternoon.  But I think I am changing my mind and I want to get the XJ model.  I would purchase this car from the same dealer but I was wondering if this is possible.  I know I have 48 hours to change my mind but is that 48 hours from picking up the car or signing the contract.   The model is a new 2004 XJ model for 45,000, I think its a steal for an XJ.  I would love to make the change.  Just wondering if you would know anything about my situation.  Thanks for your help.

P.S.  I am scheduled to take delivery on the X-Type, tommorow the 9th.

Hi Miguel, since I live in Florida I am not sure what the lease laws are in NY but feel sure that if you go to the dealer and explain what you want to do he should allow you to do so.  If you have a provlem, or if you need more specific questions please feel free to ask.  Best of Luck, Bud
