Tips on Buying Cars: Mazda reliability vs. Honda & Toyota, toyota camrys, honda accords

Question
Steve:
I'm going to be buying a car soon.  I want to buy one about two years old, hopefully with around 25,000 miles or so.  I'm considering Honda Accords, Toyota Camrys, and Mazda 626's.  (I understand the 626 is now called just the "Mazda 6".)
I know that the Accord and Camry have reputations for reliability and dependability...good workmanship, etc.  But what about Mazda?  I notice that Mazda 626's tend to be a little less expensive than Accords or Camrys, and wondered if it's because they're not as reliable or as well made.
Whatever you can tell me about the Mazda 626 in comparison to Accords and Camrys I'd be grateful for.
Warm regards, and Happy Holidays!

Answer
Hey David....
This one is fairly simple...If it is not a matter of money honda or toyota are a great choice. The toyota will be a bit cheaper, but if you can find a honda you want and the price is right go for it. Mazda is o.k....may be a bit less expensive but over the long haul will not keep the value as well as the other 2.....If price is substantially less and it is very important to you go with the mazda but make sure to find a good after market extended warranty...Please let me know if any other questions and have a great holiday!
