Tips on Buying Cars: Florida car buying, cash cow, florida dealer

Question
Here in Florida dealer added accessories and the "dealer fee" inflate vehicle list prices substantially. By the time you negotiate eliminating the dealer fee your just plain worn out before the real negotiating process begins. Do I simply avoid dealers who charge a "dealer fee" or is there a better way to let them know and agree that I won't pay the extra "dealer fee"? bob

Answer
Hi Bob

Handling fees and add on's are a cash cow for all dealers, yes not only does the buyer get drained having negotiated a price on a vehicle only to find out he is going to the finance office to get worked over once again, lol

Here are two suggestions, factor what you want to pay for vehicle add the state taxes and licence fees, then ask for an out the door price, or up front make your offer that way, if no deal you simply walk, at which point you will likely get a counter price, but you still walk, you can always come back.

I would like for you to read some pointers on my website, anything that is not fully understandable feel free to post in my forum for some quick answers.
