Tires: tires, 2006 hyundai elantra, low profile tires

I have a 2006 Hyundai Elantra with low profile tires and do not like the ride or handling on our snow covered roads. Can they be changed to regular tires ( not low profile )with no adverse consequences?

I’m sorry, but in order to answer your question, I need to know how big the fenderwells are on your vehicle.  The folks that measure that sort of thing think the information gives them a competitive advantage, so they don’t share.

I suggest you contact Discount Tire or Tire Rack.  They both do those sorts of measurements.
