What is the proper tire pressure for Falken XIEX ZE912 215/60R16 95H M+S on Honda CRV 2000, 2 wheel drive?

On every vehicle sold in the US, there is a sticker – commonly called the vehicle placard - that lists the original tire size and the proper pressure for that size.  The placard is usually located on a doorpost or in the glove box – but sometimes it is located in the trunk or on the fuel filler door.

Look for the placard and see if the following information is correct, if it is not, then the rest of this post is incorrect as well.

The placard ought to say your vehicle came with P205/70R15 95S's inflated to 26 psi.

If this is true, the a 215/60R16 95H should be inflated to the same pressure (same Load Index).  However, you might want to try 3 to 5 psi more to get better fuel economy, better tire durability, better tire wear, and better steering crispness.
