Tires: Tire pressure - tire rating vs. owners manual., Motorcycle Tire Pressure

Hi, this question may have come up already, if so I have not found it.

I ride a motorbike and the owner's manual recommends max 32 PSI for the front (stock) tire. I bought a replacement tire (different brand)which recommends max 41 PSI. Should I go by the manual tire pressure rating or the tire rating ? Thanx !

Did you change tire size?  If not, then the pressure listed in the manual is the correct one.

If you did change size, then I'll need to know what both sizes werte and I'll calculate what the new pressure should be.

BTW, I'll bet the new tire doesn't have a "Recommendation".  It has a "Maximum."  Check and see if this isn't correct.
