Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: mantinence, home mechanic, operational life

Question
Out of the three types of final drives which do you think is the best. belt shaft or chain

Answer
Each type has its own pros and cons.
Chain-Pro
Easy to maintain
Cheap and easy to replace
Properly maintained I've had them last 23k miles and still going strong
Cons
Can be a bit louder then other methods, especially when nearing end of operational life.
Does require frequent maintience such as,cleaning and lubing along with adjustment

Belt-Pro
Smooth,less driveline lash then chain
Very quiet
Usually thought to outlast chains but personally i'm not so sure
Cons-
Can be expensive to replace
Can't handle the power most modern supersport bikes can produce
Shaft Pros
Quiet
Pretty much maintience free
Can last for many more miles then chains or belts
Will not lose efficency as time goes on
Cons
Heavy
When it goes its pretty darn expensive to repair and may be beyond the realm or your typical home mechanic.
When getting on the gas hard coming out of turns the rear has a tendency to raise itself about 1.5-3 inches which can be pretty startling if your not use to it.
