Question
I am having problems with my pick up.  earlier this last winter season i moved and parked my pick up. i have never had any problems starting and i think that it was tampered with my an auto mechanic that has a problem with me. what would be the first things to look for nobody knows.
there aren't too many diesel men around willing to help me out.
if you have any ideas i would really appreciate it. i would really like to drive my truck again. its my baby and i would do anything to get her running again.

Answer
If it cranks over, but won't start, I would make sure the glow plug relay is sending power to the glow plugs.
Don't just depend on the click to tell you it is working. I have replaced several that would click, but not make internak contact.
It should be right on top of the engine.
Test the large terminals with a test light. One should have battery power all the time.
The other large terminal should have battery power when the switch is turned to run.

Air in the fuel system is another possibility from sitting for a long time, and may need to be bled out.

You don't happen to live on southwest Oklahoma, do you?
