Vintage Cars: vintage headlight, brass bezel, diamond shape

I just bought a set of vintage headlights they are 10" lights One light has a brass bezel the other is chrome. The brass matches the headlight they have a half diamond shape one each that pair up with each other. What is the diamond shape for what make and model.
