Vintage Cars: 1979 VW Type II Kombi/Transporter, electronic fuel injection, bosch fuel injection

I would like to re-convert to original fuel injection system my converted carburetor 1979 VW Bus.  Can you advise what specific components do I need to retrofit it to a fuel injection delivery system.  Would appreciate it much if you can give me idea on where I can purchase same.  Thanx much

That would be a big project.  What is left?
FI for that year I believe is Bosch L-Jetronic electronic fuel injection.  I would do this , get this book, How to Tune and Modify Bosch Fuel Injection by B Watson.  It does a very nice job of identifying all the parts and how they work.  Finding the ECU may be your most difficult part, that is unless you already have one.
