What Fuse Does a 1998 Mustang GT Use for Turn Signals?

Part of the fourth generation of Mustangs, Ford's 1998 Mustang GT coupe and convertible came standard with a 4.6-liter V-8 engine that was not available in the base model. The 1998 version of the 4.6-liter engine had 225 horsepower -- 10 horsepower over the 4.6-liter engine available in 1996 and 1997.

  • Ford used a solid state module called an electronic flasher to provide power to the turn signals. Fuse 13 -- a blue 15A fuse -- in the fuse panel located below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal, provides juice to the electronic flasher.
