How Do I Take A/C Vents Out of My Chevy Pickup?

There are several A/C vents on the front portion of the dashboard of your Chevrolet pickup. On newer models, vents are located in the rear of the vehicle as well. If you need to remove the A/C vents from your truck, you can pry most of them out with a flathead screwdriver. The A/C vents found in the central part of the dashboard will need to have the dashboard frame removed before you can pull them out.

Things You'll Need

  • Park the pickup and apply its parking brake for safety.
