The interior light fuse in a Nissan Murano is designed to prevent the wiring from overheating in the event of an electrical surge or short. When the interior light draws too much current, the filament inside the fuse bursts, stopping the flow of electricity to the interior light. The interior light fuse is located inside the interior fuse panel. This panel is mounted inside the dashboard, just above the hood release lever.
Place the Murano's gear selector lever in the "P" position. Turn off the engine and set the parking brake.
Locate the interior fuse panel. It is mounted in the dashboard, just above the hood release lever.
Remove the interior fuse panel cover and note the diagram on the underside of the cover. This diagram shows the exact location of the interior light fuse within the fuse panel.
Pinpoint the fuse location within the fuse panel according to the information on the diagram.
