The Cadillac Escalade was Cadillac's first entry into the sport utility vehicle market and, by most accounts, the company hit it out of the ballpark with this luxury vehicle. Most people who own a Cadillac Escalade can afford to take it to the dealer for minor repairs like broken mirror glass, but even Escalade owners like the occasional do-it-yourself repair jobs. Replacing the mirror is an easy task to complete.
Turn the mirror glass all the way to the left with the electronic control module.
Stick your fingers between the right side of the mirror and the mirror shell. Pull out with your fingers to pop the mirror off the actuator.
Place the new mirror glass into the plastic shell and push it into place with the ball of your hand. The metal tabs on the back of the mirror fit over the motorized actuator to lock it in place.
