How to Change a Headlight Bulb in a Chrysler Sebring

The Sebring is a line of mid-sized vehicles designed and manufactured by the Chrysler Corporation. The Chrysler Sebring is equipped with front headlights. The headlights provide visibility to the driver and other motorists on the road during night driving and bad weather. It's important to replace the headlight bulb when it burns out to ensure safe driving.

Things You'll Need

  • Flat-head screwdriver
  • Place the Chrysler Sebring in "Park." Open the hood, and locate the headlight corresponding with which bulb needs to be replaced.

  • Remove the two headlight mounting screws. Pry the fasteners off of the headlight, using a flat-head screwdriver. Gently pull the headlight assembly away from the vehicle.

  • Turn the retaining ring counterclockwise. Remove the bulb socket from the unit; once the retaining ring is off, the socket will come out easily. Remove the bulb from the socket by pulling it straight out. Discard the burnt out bulb.

  • Push the replacement bulb into the socket; you will hear the bulb click securely into place. Replace the socket assembly, and turn the retaining ring clockwise to ensure the socket and bulb are secured.

  • Slide the headlight assembly into place. Click the fasteners into place. Tighten and secure the two mounting screws. Close the hood of the Sebring.
