The Road Star is a cruiser-style motorcycle that Yamaha began producing in 1999. The bike features a tool kit and an owner’s manual that are located under the rider seat. Both the owner's manual and the tool kit are provided to assist you in doing preventative maintenance and minor repairs. Open and remove the rider seat on a Yamaha Road Star to access the tool kit and the owner's manual.
Insert the key into the main ignition switch on the Road Star.
Turn the key counterclockwise to the “Open” position.
Lift the rider seat off.
