New Products Wheels July 2015 Lead

AC Schnitzer AC1
Clean, masculine lines give the new AC1 its sharp identity, while those five double spokes converge on a pentagonal hub bearing the AC Schnitzer logo. It's the schnitz, produced in a low-pressure casting process and then heat-treated. The AC1 is a three-piece rim with visible bolting and comes in Bi-Color Anthracite or matte-finish Anthracite. It will fit most current BMW cars (naturally), several Mini models, and the Range Rover Sport. Diameters go from 18 to 23 inches, while widths range between 7.5 and 11.5 inches. $TBA. acschnitzer-us.com

CEC C25/26/27 Made in Germany
Claus Ettensberger and his CEC company are celebrating 25 years of tuning and transformations in 2015. And those celebrations involve creating the C25 wheel, a diamond-cut, forged, two-piece, spinning work of art. But CEC isn't the kind of company to stop there, hence the C26 and C27 as well, forming the Made in Germany Wheel Collection. The 10-spoke C26, incidentally, is CEC's first directional wheel. All three are available in diameters of 20 to 22 inches and widths from 9 to 12 inches. They also come with standard, concave, or deep concave center profiles. From $1,899.

Fondmetal KV-1
It has to be said that Fondmetal doesn't go in for many details on its website, but we do know that the KV-1 alloy wheel is made in Italy and has met with TÜV approval. It's made by using a special low-pressure casting method and then additionally heat-treated. It's a five-spoke design with a concave center. Sizes range from diameters of 20 to 22 inches, along with widths of 9, 10.5, and 12 inches on the 20-inch version, plus widths of 9 and 11 inches on the 22. The company says applications include Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. From $558.

Gram Lights 57 Valkyrie
These new Gram Lights should be touching down on American soil at the time of this magazine release. Available in 17" (4x100) and 18" (5x100/114.3), the new 57 Valkyrie, also nicknamed "The Fighting Mesh," is the hot new JDM wheel you'll want to look out for in '15. It's a one-piece cast wheel that comes in silver or black. We're definitely digging its modern design and variable layer center cap. mackinindustries.com

HRE Classic
For all those people with excellent taste who hanker after the older designs of HRE wheels (not that the contemporary styles are too shabby), the company has just launched its Classic line of three-piece and monoblok rims. There's the 300/300M mesh, 301/301M split 9-spoke, 303/303M 13-spoke, 305/305M 5-spoke, and the 309/309M 19-spoke. Diameters go from 18 to 22 inches; widths range from 8 to 13 inches. But the good thing is that they can still meet modern demands, and the simplicity of design means the Classic line can be offered at lower prices than regular HRE wheels. Each one is built to order, and HRE says there are "nearly infinite" options of fitment, color, and finish options. From $1,400.

Vorsteiner V-FF 101 Flow Forged
These entry-level alloys are a claimed 25 percent lighter than conventional cast construction but also stronger. They're offered with three center profiles of differing concavities, are compatible with big brake kits, and need no spacers, hub-centric rings, or any special hardware. The 101 is finished in Mercury Silver, Carbon Graphite, or Mystic Black. It's a 20-inch wheel, with widths ranging from 8.5 inches to 12 inches. Vorsteiner has outfitted a 991 Carrera S with Carbon Graphite examples—20x8.5 (standard profile) at the front, 20x11 (concave profile) at the rear—that use Porsche's original tire sizes of 245/35 and 295/30. The company says that even after a moderate drop in ride height, the car will still be rub-free. From $550 per wheel.
