APCs Spare-Tire Holder and Side Steps - The Off-Road Look

apc Spare Tire Holder And Side Steps off Road Trend   |   apc Spare Tire Holder And Side Steps off Road Trend We're seeing a trend here in California that's following the hard-core off-road-look you would find on all the Trophy Trucks. These trucks have things such as fiberglass fenders; big, meaty spares hanging out the back; and fully fabricated bars, featuring dimple-dyed filler panels with nice, uniform TIG welds. American Products Corporation (APC) saw this growing trend and decided to help beginners get a piece of it, without destroying their budget. APC constructed a spare-tire holder and set of side steps that emulate the look, but are made from lighter weight materials to keep the cost down. Since these items are made for that purpose, don't expect to enter a race and have them hold up; they're made to be strong enough for street use or mild off-roading. The spare-tire holder slides into your truck's existing trailer hitch and has two braces that attach to the bed floor. The side bars mount to the inside bottom of the cab on a set of brackets. The install is pretty straightforward and only requires you to drill a few holes to hold all this stuff on.
