Auto Insurance Claims: Loss of wages, lost wages

My truck was in a accident this morning other driver totally at fault. A claim has been filed with other insurance .My semi is expected to be in the collision shop for at least 4 days. Each day I lose money, this is my lifeline. Due to the accident I am I am losing money I want to know if I am entitled to loss of wages.

You are entitled to your loss of capacity to earn / lost wages.  The trouble most people have is proving the amount of money they make.  If you are seeking lost wages, you must prove the amount of wage you normally make by providing sufficient proof of income.  

Additionally, make sure that the vehicle is not sitting at a shop not getting repaired.  If parts are required, make sure the parts are ordered and on site before you allow the "down time" to begin.  You could potentially claim loss of future earnings if missing any work would put your business in an unfavorable light or cause you to lose a contract due to inability to perform.
