Towing Issues: illegally towed, bright flashlight, small claims court

Ihave been parking in the same spot in my complex for 6 months and have never had a problem. well tonight my vehicle was parked in the same spot with the permit posted on my tinted window and the vehicle got towed here in portland . what if any recourse do i have ??

Well I am not sure the reason, but have a thought or 2 here..
First of all "tinted windows" do make it hard to see permits, specially at night... More than once I have had to use a bright flashlight to check tinted windows for permits..

Second a new driver might not of been fully aware of the requirements to be legally parked there.  After all drivers do change jobs quite often..

Now since it was a private property tow, I do not believe that the towing review board (I hope this is Portland Oregon, not Portland Texas, Michigan, Maine, Tennessee or any of the others) will review the case...  But you can try.

And then there is always the Small Claims Court route..
