Auto Insurance Claims: Vehicle stolen, owner unlicensed..., begging the question, boyfriends

Question
My boyfriends car was stolen while he and his friends were fishing.  His license is currently suspended.  The car was legally parked when it was stolen.  He has kept the insurance current on the car, and has comprehensive coverage.  Is he still covered?

Answer
As long as the investigation shows a valid theft then the claim should be covered.  The status of his license has little bearing other than begging the question as to his motive in insuring a vehicle that he cannot legally drive.

I know that as an investigator, I'd be looking very closly at this one.
