Auto body repair & detailing: roof repair, seam sealer, expanding foam

Question
i have a 64 chevy 2 .the roof is soft.when i sand on it it moves ,not stiff,solid feeling.can it be strengthened.

Answer
It is supposed to have some flex to it. But if you do not like it you could spray some expanding foam or seam sealer on the inside between the braces.Or if you are talking about rust you must cut out old rusty metal and weld in patches.
