Question -
I have a 95 ford escort wagon and the aluminun moulding needs to be restored.The protective coating on the actual aluminum is loose and falling off.Hope i'm explaining this correctly.I'm not if i should take it off completly and paint?Please help.Thanks

I reccomend that you sand out the affected areas with 400 grit sandpaper. Then scuff the rest with a red scotch bright. Mask of the mouldings with 3/4 inch tape and newspaper to keep the overspray off you car. Use trim satin black for the paint you can buy these materials @ you local auto paint store. The paint will come in a spray can and follow the instuctions.
