Auto Parts: Honda Accord Door Lock is Stuck, honda accord coupe, electric locks

Question
we have a 2000 Honda Accord coupe.
The driver side door luck is stuck in the locked position. THe mechanical door lock will not release the lock. The electric lock sounds like it is trying to unlock it but here is what happens....when you push the electric lock button to unlock the doors and the acutuator moves up and then jumps right back down. The passenger side door does the same thing but if you time it correctly on the outside you can open the door before the lock jumps back down. You cannot time the opening on the drivers door, it remains locked no matter what.
Since the driver door is shut I cannot open the door to remove the door panel to pull the actuator.
How do I bypass the electric locks and get the door open?

Answer
Your going to want to fin the power door unlock wire, its an orange wire located in the passenger side fuse box, if tested for current it will show up as a Negative pulse when the locks are triggered. Locate this wire and peel back the wires covering to reveal the wire itself.. take another piece of wire and connect to the orange wire then take the other end and touch it against the body of the vehicle where there is a bare metal surface, this should unlock the doors, if you hold the wire in that position you should be able to open the driver side door with ease
