Car Stereos: Camry stereo cut out on the right side, toyota camry, camry

I have a '01 Toyota Camry with it's original stereo system installed. Just yesterday the speakers on the right side of the car cut out. I wasn't blaring the music loud or anything like that they just seemed to cut off. I can still barely hear them if i turn the volume all the way up on the right side. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Tad,

The factory harness for the '01 Camry I believe comes in two pieces, and the right side of the car's wires come on a separate harness from the rest.  Try pulling the deck out, and checking the clips in the back of the deck to see if they've worked themselves loose.

If the wiring is still good, but the right side continues not to work right, you may have blown the internal amp in your deck and need to replace it.
