Car Stereos: 2 Amp 2 Speaker Configuration, triumph spitfire, kenwoods

Question
Hi there, I have a triumph spitfire and currently have this setup:

One speaker in each headrest (2 seats), two Kenwood 250W 5 1/4 " speakers in behind the seats running off a Kenwood 50w x4 new headunit.

I've just brought a good quality 2 channel 200W amp, how do I go about running the two rear 5" kenwoods off the amp? With the roof down on the motorway with a twin sports exhaust its not loud enough.

Answer
Hi Tom,

It's just a standard amp install you need to do.  Mount the amp somewhere inconspicuous, (or conspicuous, if you prefer. :)), buy an amp kit and run the power wire to the amplifier, ground it with < 18" of ground wire grounded to bare sanded, unpainted, and preferably unwelded metal, run RCAs from the rear of your kenwood deck into the two inputs on the amp, and run fresh speaker wire from the amp to the 5" speakers.  Set it up so it sounds right, and you're good to go.
