Car Stereos: sub box, dodge 1500, box dimension

i have a 98 dodge 1500 i have 2 15" subs that i would like to build a box for need some dimensions to help me out

Hi Tabitha,

You need to get the specs on the subwoofers, as different subwoofers require different amounts of airspace based on brand/power/etc.

Some general rules to follow are:

- Don't skimp on space, give them at least as much as they require.
- If you put two subwoofers in one box, don't let them share airspace, put a divider in that is sealed from both sides.

Once you check the specs on your subwoofers, google for subwoofer box dimension calculator.  There's some online that will tell you exactly what size your box will need to be to provide the right airspace.
