Car Stereos: XM antenna installation, antenna installation, cigarette lighter adapter

Could you tell me where the input is on my radio and how hard it is to get to? I am installing an XM Xpress and deciding whether to go with the optional FM Direct kit or not. I have a 2003 Grand Prix GT. Also do you know if the Sure Connect that comes with the Xpress is an option to use? I have professional window tint and not sure if I want to stick something to my rear window. Thank you.

Hey Lori.

those Xm units come with an Fm modulator Built in so you don't need to hook anything up except for the antenna, and the cigarette lighter adapter.

with sure connect you get a stronger and clearer reception,
we usually clip it on the existing antenna when we have cars like that with window tint, it is an option but its worth to install it.
