Car Stereos: car stereo?, ford taurus gl, 1997 ford taurus gl

Hi, Im sorry Im not sure if your the person I need to ask. But Im gonna try anyways. I have a 1997 Ford Taurus GL. And the car stereo isnt working. It wont even turn on when I push power...everything else in the car is working fine. Could it be some kind of fuse? Thank you. April

I think i could give it a try. :)

first of all is the stereo an aftermarket radio or a factory. if its a factory radio you might wanna check the fuses, if it has an aftermarket you might wanna check if there is nothing wrong with the wiring, it might be shorting out.

if all the fuses are good and you have the factory radio then there must be something wrong with the actual radio and you might have to replace it or have it repaired,
