BMW Repair: 750iL knock sensors, bmw repairs, vent valve

Question
The first problem stems from installing M73 top end parts (heads and up) on an M70 block. A diagnostic readout says knock sensors. My sensors were glued on to the block. The auto shop says they're to be bolted on. I'm removing the intake manifold to get to the knock sensors. 1. Exactly where do the sensors bolt on, and 2. What ohm readings should I be getting for resistance through the sensors? If I have to buy new sensors, do I go with ones for the M73 or M70 engine? Is there a website that would show me these things? Along with installing the sensors correctly, I will also change valve cover and intake gaskets, and the crankcase vent valve. Afterwards, how can I turn off the check engine light? Please comment and/or give advice on the above actions.

Answer
wow, that's a little bit out of my league there buddy, sorry.  however there is another guy on this site that also does bmw repairs who can probaly help you out with this better then i can.  as far as resetting the computer, you need a scanner that hooks up to the obd 2 socket.

Sorry,

Rahim.
