BMW Repair: fuel filter, hose clamps, allen screw

How do I replace the fuel filter on my 2000 528i?  I was told there is some time of clamping involved?

you need to get under the car. on the drivers side, there is a black plastic cover, remove the cover and you'll see a silver cylinder that is the fuel filter. remove the allen screw holding the filter to the car and remove the 2 hose clamps that secure the fuel line to the filter. when you remove the fuel line, cover it with a rag so you don't get sprayed with fuel. install the new filter using the old band clamp that holds it to the car and install 2 new hose clamps on the fuel line. tighten the clamps and turn the key on to pressurize the fuel system. check for leaks.
