GMC Repair: 2002 Buick Rendezvous, buick rendezvous, gm vehicles

Question
Hi. We bought this car in Nov. 23rd, 04 as a "gm certified" auto.. So far the problems include: first time windshield wipers used they locked up in middle of windhshield.. GM told us since we have the car outside, the rainwater got into the module and messed it up. They wanted to charge us 200 dollars.  First time used emergency brake only to find out there wasn't one.  GM told us it worked when they checked the car out.. so they wanted to charge us 350 dollars.  Two weeks ago the transmission made a loud clunk at 20mph, around 2nd gear (automatic trans).. We glided home. GM had the car for a week.(we had towed it). Said they couldn't duplicate problem. Said it was the solenoid one day, next day debris had gotten in the valve (it happens..) and day we picked it up they said they didn't have to do anything.. Next day we are in traffic, trans. slipping again.
Lastly, just found out car was not really ever gm certified.. Can any mechanic GM certify a car?
Hmm..

Answer
Usually GM vehicles should be certified by an experienced GM technician with years of experience.

Unfortunately, Anyone, Even the CAR WASH KID can simply look at the vehicle and say "YEP", IT is GM CERTIFIED as far as I am concerned.

With ONLY the information of which you provided and NOT hearing the dealers side of the story, It would appear that you have been taken advantage of.
