I'M GETTING AN M-ERROR MESSAGE WHEN TRYING TO PLAY A CD

Does your user's manual have anything?

Don't have a manual,I bought it used

Answer
Dear John,

I've checked around. Apparently each manufacturer has its own error codes, so an "M" error on your Fisher will not be the same as an "M" error on, say, an RCA unit. So, without the manual, it's not possible to determine what the error code means.

I would take the unit in to an authorized or at least qualified repair service to see what's wrong. While it would be nice to know what the "M" message means, there's only a very, very slim chance that you could actually do anything about it, and you would need to take it to a repair facility anyway.

Good luck. And thanks for choosing allexperts.com!

Kindest regards,

Kevin
