Chevrolet Repair: 1993 s-10 truck, key cylinder, high beam

hello,i replaced my key cylinder and put everything back together but high beam lever or switch wont work--what did i screw up--thanks for your help and what a great web site

Answer
The rod probably fell out of the dimmer switch located at the base of the column.  Poke your head under there and see if it is in the correct location.  If not hten you will have to take your column apart and redo the rod.  or try and slip it in the hole.
