Watch the government surplus auction site, for vehicles, as well as a lot of other interesting stuff.

We just sold one a few weeks ago that the buyer drove away....still had a full fuel tank.

You can also find a military base near you, and locate the DRMO, which is Defense Reutilization Management Office. That is where they sell them.

If there is a National Guard unit, or Army Reserve unit close by, check with them and see if they have any they are about to sell.

Just north of Dallas, in Sherman/Dennison area, there is a group that buys all kinds of old military vehicles and restores them. A member of that group is very likely to have one, or know of one.
