Chrysler Repair: Chrysler Repair Windshield wiper not working on passenger side, plymouth voyager, mechanical motion

Question
I know you answered Bruce about both of his wipers not working on his 94 Plymouth Voyager, but I only have the drivers side working and not passenger side.  Same procedure as you answered him?  The drivers side is nice and tight, but the passenger side seems to be loose or not connected to something.  Thanks.

Answer
Hi Doc,
The wiper motor drives the driver-side pivot directly and attached to the lever of that pivot is a connecting rod that transfers the same mechanical motion over to the right pivot. That connection has come undone at one end or the other for some wear or stess reason that you will be able to recognize when you get to it. You can probably get a replacement at a pull-it-yourself type wrecking yard.
You need to remove the wiper arms (use a rocking motion to work it off) and then remove the cowl cover that runs across below the windshield in order to access this mechanism. There are several screws to remove to get it off.
