Chrysler Repair: 2004 Chrylser sebring starting and running problems, pvc valve, chrylser sebring

Question
So I was talking to Roland but he is on vacation now so this is what I wrote him earlier.

It's a 2.4L DOHC engine. I replaced the Crankshaft, throttle position and MAP sensors. However I still get the error code of P0108 even after the MAP sensor was replaced. When the engine starts it runs like normal. However it will stop running about 1 to 2 miles down the road. I have also changed out the fuel pump and the spark plugs too. It does have spark but it does not want to start most of the time when you crank the engine. So I am trying to figure out why it won't start even though I do have compression, fuel and ignition.

So I have progressed a little further then this now and it has nothing to do with the electronics. I finally got the car running and kept the rpms around 3k. after the second time of restarting the car it started to idle. I found that when I disconnected the PVC valve it would start perfectly and so I replace the PVC valve and man it was running like a charm. My stepdaughter drove the car around for about an hour and then the car died again. When I went to look at the car it would crank again but not start. I disconnected the line from the pvc valve to the intake manifold and the car started right up again. as soon as I would connect in the PVC valve it would die. I checked the oil and it is in good shape at the right level and very clean. so what would cause the PVC valve to either clog right away or is it the valve right next to the throttle body that regulates the air for the idle.

I hope that I have provide enough information this time for a solution. Please let me know if you need anything else.

Answer
Hi Brian,
I would check that the hose(s) are air tight that connect to the throttle valve. Also do check and clean the throttle body throat, both sides of the plate, and the idle air passageway. If none of those correct it, then search for a vacuum hose leak at one of the other hoses that connect to the intake manifold.

I just saw your question in the 'pool' to which it had been referred after 'shopteacher' dropped out of the service, apparently.
