Chrysler Repair: Sebring lxi door locks, body control module, door locks

Question
When I hit the remote to lock the doors the alarm sets but the doors do not lock. Have I mistakenly reset something? this is a 2001 lxi with 17000 miles

There could be several reasons. If the doors do not lock or unlock with the interior switches, it could be the fuse or power relay. If the locks operate properly with the interior switch, try locking and unlocking all doors by the key, on both doors. If the door fails, its the cylinder switch at fault. If everything works, try reprogramming the key fob. If that fails, the body control module is probably at fault.
