Chrysler Repair: 1999 SEBRING HEATER PROBLEMS, heat increases, tube heater

Question
The heat does not increase with the RPM's.  It is a v6.  My husband pulled the dash out today.  The flow through the hoses is getting hot, but the heater core is not heating up.  You can still get cold air and you can hear the flap shift when you move it from cold to hot.

The hubby pulled the heater core and flushed it.  He said that cleaned it out a lot.  If this turns out not to be the problem, do you have any other reccomendations?

-----Question-----
I have a 1999 sebring w/150k.  Over the last year we have replaced the freeze plugs, the cross over tube, heater tube assembly, and thermostat.  All of these items were taken care of due to leakage.  Now that we have solved these problems, I have no heat.  The temp will get up to the 1/2 way mark and I will turn the heater on.  It will blow about 5 seconds of warm air and then it will go cool.  The defroster is doing the same.  This evening we check the lines going to the heater core, to see if there was any blockage, and there was none.  We also checked the checked the air valves in the dash and we are not finding any problems there. We have good flow and the temp in both hoses are the same. Do you have any suggestions or ideas as to what the problem could be?

Have you checked to see if the heat increases with rpm? If so then you still may have air in the system. What size motor is it? Is this a coupe or a sedan? When you put it on full cold, does it get cold? When you turn the temp knob can you hear movement inside the heater box?

Answer
Well it sounds like you have it handled. You know the reason for all of those leaks and the restriction is probably due to lack of servicing the cooling system.Or if you had stop leak in it ,that could have clogged the heater core.If you haven't already,I would make sure that you flush the engine out really well.
