Chrysler Repair: Chrysler New Yorker Transmission, chrysler new yorker, gas filter

Hi Pete,

I have a 1988 Chrysler New Yorker.  When I am stopped at a stop light and then try to drive, the car won't move for a second or two.  Then it will go, but it happens again the next time I stop.  Do I need a Tranny Overhaul, or could it be something less expensive?

this could as simpile as a gas filter i would change the gas filter first the 1988 were know to do this when the gas filters needed to be changed I would do that simple fix first and if that does not do the trick then get back to me .
