Eagle Repair: 1994 Eagle Talon, eagle talon, fuel tank

Question
My son recently purchased a 1994 Eagle Talon and when he tries to start it in the mornings it takes sometimes 30 minutes to get it to start.  Our driveway is on an incline and we find it helpful to back the car down to level ground to help it start.  We have changed the plugs and plug wires but the problem persists.

Answer
You could possibly have a weak rubber hose of whiich connects the fuel pump to the pickup tube within the fuel tank and this will cause the fuel pump to suck air into the fuel line.

If this starting problem DOES NOT occur when the fuel tank is FULL I would look into the above.

If this is the problem or not, Replace the fuel pump as they usually only last and operate 100% around 60,000 miles.
