Ford Repair: electrical, power battery, charging system

Question
Trying this again!! Replaced battery and belt in '98 F150 XL, 4X4. Just experienced "headlights dimmed to "0" light, "ALL" gauges lighting up as well and then all went out and led to power loss". Engine quit while driving and then nothing. Have replaced the battery with a "brand new 875amp" cranking power battery, replaced the belt and the alternator "Was & is" charging. Drove the truck the next day on a 45km trip and the same thing re-occured. Aside from getting a refund, any advice??

Answer
I know that you replaced the belt.Does it squeal? The three major components to the charging system include the starter.Have the new alternator tested and the new battery fully charged.Every time you go to run the truck, the battery must be fully charged.Check all of you're cables and connections.Hey, it happens to the best of mechanics.
