Land Rover Repair: My door latch, door latch, air suspension

Question
I have a 1998 Range Rover 4.6 hse and when i took it to the dealership to get it diagnosed, they said that i will need a new door latch. It closes fine but it reads on the dash that the RHD is open. They adjusted the striker and and told me not to open the door or it will throw my air suspension sensor back off causing it to drop.

My question is: What did they do to adjust the striker because it has dropped again and I need it fixed before i put my truck on the road to go back home. I plan on buying another latch but not until i get my truck back in town. Its in Mississippi and I dont want just anybody working on my truck. Can you help, please????!!!!!

Answer
The air suspension will not level the vehicle when it thinks a door is open.  Put a latch in it, and it should level out okay.  The system must leak if it's dropping down, so you may have a second problem to attend to once the latch has been changed.
