I have been quoted for a new condensore $3000.00 dollars is that right? I live in Tortola British Virgin Islands. My car is a 1999 4.6 hse

It's hard to advise you about prices because i do not know the scope of the job being proposed, or the local labor market.  Here in the USA the condensor and receiver drier are about $1,000.  It would be a 5 hour job to change it, more or less.   The job you are being quoted may include other parts or services which could add to the cost
